Neighbourhood policing team
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is a group of Cumbria Police officers dedicated to serving your community by focusing on local crime, disorder and quality of life issues.
We work closely with local authorities, partner agencies, community leaders and residents to decide on policing priorities for your neighbourhood through the Local Focus Hubs.
By working together we aim to find solutions to longstanding local problems while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Cumbria.

Concerns regarding HGV/Vehicles contravening the weight restriction on Castletown , In particular Norfolk and Newton Road. Speeding was also raised in the area

Liaising with WAF Council the land owners regarding target hardening , some of the ASB toolkit already implemented. -

Issues with loud vehicles being driven antisocially in penrith town . Particularly in the area of Sainsburys and Kilgour street

Multi Agency work with Sainsburys and residents. Also planned enforcement event

Local PCSO and CBO been speaking with persimmon homes regarding traffic calming measures and enforcement opportunities.

Noisy parties and nuisance being caused by a property on Mill street affected local residents

Streetsafe and foot patrols done in the area.

CPW issues to offending occupant as well as multiagency and holistic work with both suspect and victim
