Neighbourhood policing team
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is a group of Cumbria Police officers dedicated to serving your community by focusing on local crime, disorder and quality of life issues.
We work closely with local authorities, partner agencies, community leaders and residents to decide on policing priorities for your neighbourhood through the Local Focus Hubs.
By working together we aim to find solutions to longstanding local problems while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Cumbria.

Complaints have been made of Youth related ASB incidents in Seaton – Throwing stones off the footbridge, throwing stones at properties, kicking MOP doors
Action taken:

Targeted high visibility patrols in affected areas to identify and disrupt perpetrators of ASB. Identified perpetrators have been referred to intervention programs to address their behavioursWE DID
Engagement with local schools to deliver ASB input to children to educate on the impacts of ASBWE DID
Engagement with local housing providers to issue joint Antisocial Behaviour Contracts to deter further offending. -
Priority:
Persistent complaints have been made relating to antisocial use of offroad motorcycles and e-bikes in the area of Camerton Bridge

This is a new priority that has been raised following recent complaints.

Area mapping has been conducted to identify local landowners and timeline of incidents created to allow pattern analysisPLANNED ACTIVITY:

2. Use of drones to identify bikes and riders and allow prosecution for motoring offences
