Neighbourhood policing team
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is a group of Cumbria Police officers dedicated to serving your community by focusing on local crime, disorder and quality of life issues.
We work closely with local authorities, partner agencies, community leaders and residents to decide on policing priorities for your neighbourhood through the Local Focus Hubs.
By working together we aim to find solutions to longstanding local problems while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Cumbria.

Visible patrol on local beaches for youth ASB on motor bikes.
Speed Gun Checks on Duke Street, Askam outside local schools following reports of speed issues.
Vehicle stop checks on Ulverston Road, Dalton. 40 cars stopped, several tickets issued and advise given with regards to speeding. Generally positive response from the public that were engaged with.
