We work closely with local authorities, partner agencies, community leaders and residents to decide on policing priorities for your neighbourhood through the Local Focus Hubs.

Antisocial Behaviour in Barrow Town Centre
Issued 26 May 2026
A community meeting is being organised for the 10th June (venue TBC) in order to gather further information about the issues.
In the interim period, officers have been liaising with businesses in the area in order to understand their issues, as well as to help them understand how they can support reductions in ASB.
PC Allen, PC Parkinson, PCSO Graham and PCSO Griffiths have been carrying out targeted high visibility foot patrol across the town centre. PC Allen has also been investigating allegations that certain stores are connected to antisocial behaviour and have been supplying products to underage youths. Enforcement action has been taken against these premises, however this information is not yet in the public domain due to ongoing investigations.
