Multi agency patrols conducted on Windermere and we continue to work with our partners within Westmorland and Furness Council and the Lake District National Park to improve security, and to prevent and detect offences.

Cold Callers visiting residential addresses in the area of Levens and Grange over Sands

Local residents have raised concern about cold callers visiting residential addresses and trying to sell goods. We are advised that they are often forceful in their manner and can be aggressive when asked to leave. Our local officers continue to look for these individuals when on routine patrol. Police will attend all reports, obtain details of persons involved and take positive action. We will work with other agencies such as Trading Standards to address the concern.
