Youths causing anti-social behaviour in Frizington in the area of Main Street and Weavers Avenue and the playpark.

17.01.25 - High Visibility patrols conducted in Hot spot locations
- Several youths have been spoken as potentially being involved
- CCTV enquiries carried out
- Liaised with local schools to identify the offenders
- case has been referred to the local focus hub for a multi-agency response
- 27/04/2025 - all offenders have now been referred to REMEDI for Community resolution including Rehabilitation work and Restorative work.
- 21-05-2025 - Working with partner agencies to look at a working solution around the issues at the playpark.

Enquiries are being carried out in the area and CCTV being viewed to identify any offenders
-Motor Bike seized following collision, Male arrested and Charged for failing to provide a specimen of breath.

25.05.2025 - possible location of stored bikes visited

11 hours of dedicated targeted patrols conducted

30.05.2025 Day of action, all neighbourhood policing team targeted patrols on Cycle path between Cleator moor and Moor Row.
07.06.2025- Named offenders identified

Youth antisocial behaviour at the Better Astroturf at Cleator Moor.

Patrols carried out in the area. CCTV obtained and enquiries underway to identify persistent offenders. Working with “Better” who own the site to look at a safer working environment for staff, and to prevent and discourage further antisocial behaviour.

10/06/2025 - Met with employees of "Better" and partner agencies to discuss ongoing Anti social behaviour on the site.
11.06.2025 - High visibility patrols deterred some youths from entering pitch
15.06.2025 - High visibility patrols no youths at location

17.06.2025 - discuss possible solutions with the Police Crime Prevention Design Advisor.
