Neighbourhood policing team
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is a group of Cumbria Police officers dedicated to serving your community by focusing on local crime, disorder and quality of life issues.
We work closely with local authorities, partner agencies, community leaders and residents to decide on policing priorities for your neighbourhood through the Local Focus Hubs.
By working together we aim to find solutions to longstanding local problems while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Cumbria.

Reports of Antisocial Behavoiur in Aspatria
Information from PACT Survey and reported incidents
Action taken:
•High Visibility Patrols of affected areas
•Officers have visited local schools to talk to pupils about ASB and its impact on the local area
•Working with local schools to identify perpetrators and take positive action to address their behaviour -
Priority:
Reports of speeding in and around Abbeytown
Action taken:
•High visibility patrols of the area
•Use of mobile speed gun to conduct speed enforcement.
•School talks to educate teenagers on road safety and the dangers of speeding -
Priority:
Reports from members of the public detail ASB and suspected drug activity in the Water Street car park area.
Action taken:
The local NPT officers patrol the area as a priority and will proactivity deal with any individuals involved in ASB and criminality.
