Special constable training

You will be required to attend formal induction training at Police HQ, Penrith. This is a combination of attendance on weekdays and weekends for training in legislation, first aid, police powers and procedures and conflict management.

You will be expected to be able to commit to all the training dates specified.

You must complete all mandatory induction training before being deployed operationally.

There will also be ongoing training available to you on new legislation, conflict management and other key skills, which will also support you in any employment you may have and personal development.
