We are not accepting any work experience students at this time.
Work experience provides students with an understanding of the Constabulary and the opportunity to speak to both police officers and police staff about their roles entail. Students will be expected to complete a daily log book recording their activities which they can reflect on once they have returned to school/college.
Cumbria Constabulary is pleased to welcome applications from all students aged between 15- and 16-years-old undertaking the compulsory work experience period as well as students aged 17 or above (mature students) looking to undertake a work placement.
Please note - we receive a large volume of work experience and placement requests, and these take time to arrange due to operational commitments. We will respond to all requests as quickly as possible. We are less likely to be able to accommodate short notice requests, so please allow as much notice as feasible.
