Police are appealing for information following reported thefts from motor vehicles in the Cleator Moor area.

Yesterday (Friday 1st July), police received a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the Cleator Moor area. Enquiries are ongoing regarding this incident.

Today, police have been made aware of posts circulating on social media relating to further members of the public in the Cleator Moor area, having been victim to thefts from vehicles within the last few days.

Enquires are ongoing to clarify the circumstances of the unreported incidents.  

Police are urging anyone in the Cleator Moor area who has been the victim of a theft from their vehicle, to contact police so incidents can be investigated, support offered and property returned should it be recovered.
