The recent PACT survey from residents has informed us that a local priority should be focused on Road safety.
PC Lambton will conduct patrols in and around the town centre, of note Dalton Road where there have been recent reported violations of the no entry signs.
In addition following requests from local residents a Speed indication device has been placed on Greengate Street to ascertain further details regarding speeding complaints, the data will be analysed and problem times referred in to highways -

Operation Enhance aims to target this kind of activity and sees extra patrols in areas identified as hotspots for anti-social behaviour and/or serious violence.
We continue to use hotspot policing methods to target the areas identified as concern.
