Our Live Chat function is a new service giving you an alternative way to speak to a Police Officer in real time. If you would like to report a crime online please visit our Online Non-Emergency Report Form.

Please note our Live Chat is available between the hours of 9am to 9pm, seven days a week for general enquiries, advice as well as reporting non-urgent incidents of crimes in Cumbria.

You can access this using the “live chat” button at the bottom of the page.

There may be times, when we are busy, that the option may be temporarily unavailable, if this happens please check the Advice Centre here, for links and guidance which may answer your query. If you cannot find the answer to your query please contact us on our Online Reporting Form or visit Contact Us to find alternative ways to get in touch.

At the end of the live chat you have the option to send yourself a transcript of the chat to your email address.
