THE JOB:
To quality assure and oversee the progression of all incoming files routed through the CJU. Supervise all Tape Summary Clerks, Case Progression Officers and Summons Progression Officers within the CJU to ensure effective support services are provided to all police officers and relevant outside agencies. To allocate work to Case Progression Officers and Summons Progression Officers and ensure that prosecution files for Magistrates and Crown Court hearings are built to National File Standard. Provide decision making and guidance on cases to officers and staff. Strength Based Conversation and Line Management of nominated staff within CJU as allocated.
