Semi-skilled Operative - V32 

Based within Estates South

Scale 2 - £18,501.00 - £19,032.00
37 hrs per week



We have a fantastic opportunity within Cumbria Constabulary's Estates and Fleet Department for a motivated Semi-skilled operative.

The role of a semi-skilled operative is to provide input on first time building & fleet maintenance works to the estate and fleet throughout the south of Cumbria. You will be responsible for undertaing caretaking & porter duties, undertake PAT testing, conduct weekly vehicle checks, transporting vehicles for repair and servicing and carrying out minor maintenance works to vehicles.


To achieve success you will need to have knowledge and experience of responsive building repairs and experience

in undertaking practical work of a similar nature. It is critical that you can proactively liaise with other memebers of the team and the wider constabulary staff and contractors. You will need to hold a full driving licence and be availability to travel throughout the force area.
