Cumbria Constabulary and the Office and the Police and Crime Commissioner are looking for an independent member to join the Joint Audit Committee. The committee oversees governance arrangements for the Constabulary and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
Applicants will have the skills and experience to provide an independent assurance function in respect of the internal control environment, financial reporting and risk management arrangements. This is an opportunity for experienced professionals to become involved in the governance arrangements for policing in Cumbria.
