THE JOB:

Our ICT department prides itself on its delivery of the innovative, cutting-edge solutions and we are looking to recruit a confident Business Systems Analyst to join the team to help to support the effective delivery of policing services through the management, administration, development and exploitation of business systems, to provide high quality, customer focused services.

Eligibility:

Working experience and applied knowledge of computer applications and environments.

Ability to query and interrogate complex integrated systems.

Experience of working effectively in partnership with customers and ICT suppliers, both internal and external.

Demonstrable understanding of the capabilities required to successfully deliver an ICT related project including: Requirements Specification, Business Process Reengineering, System Testing, and Change Management.

Demonstrable understanding of ICT capability and the issues surrounding the implementation and maintenance of ICT in the police service.

Experience of bringing about change in a large, complex organization.

Previous experience of ICT related projects/system upgrades or work packages within ICT related projects/system upgrades. Experience should have been gained in more than one previous project/upgrade.

Educated to 'A' level or equivalent.

Recognised qualification or training in project management or in a core project delivery skill, such as Change Management or Business Analysis.
