Has held an Advanced driving authority for cars
Hold either City and Guilds in Forensic Collision Investigation or UCPD Level 4 in Forensic Collision Investigation
Hold Cert HE in Forensic Collision Investigation
Cumbria Constabulary are currently recruiting for a Collision Investigator Police Constable in our Collision Investigation Unit, this will require the following:
- To conduct detailed investigations into fatal/life threatening and any other incidents as directed, involving motor vehicles by the application of mathematical principals to determine their cause and ensure the Force meets the criteria laid down in the NPCC Forensic Collision Investigation and Reconstruction within the Police Service and College of Policing Authorised Professional Practice (APP) Investigating Road Death.
To support the Force with an expert Forensic Collision Investigation service with the aim of assisting in securing an environment where the public can use roads with confidence, free from death, injury, damage, fear or conflict.
A maximum of 500 words is required detailing why you feel you are suitable for this position. This will be assessed against the following Level 1 CVF areas:
