Police were called at around 2.56pm this afternoon (May 22) to an incident in the Harrington Road area of Workington following a report of an assault.

 

A 28-year-old man suffered injuries not believed to be life threatening. It is believed the injuries were caused from a bladed article.

 

The road was closed off while enquiries took place.

 

Three local men have since been located and arrested in connection with the incident.

 

Parties involved are believed to have known one another.
