Cumbria Police are asking residents of Seaton and the surrounding areas to be vigilant following a spate of burglaries overnight (21st - 22nd March).

 

Three burglaries have been reported to us in the Croftfield Road ,Cape Road and Inner Ling Road areas of Seaton.

 

DC Tom Windridge said: “I’d like to appeal to residents of Seaton to check that there are no signs of a break in at their properties including garages and sheds. Please keep all of your doors and windows secure and if you see anything suspicious or see a crime in progress please call 999”.

 

Two people have been arrested in relation to the burglaries and are in custody.

 

Anyone with any information or anyone who witnessed these incidents is asked to call DC 2431 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting log 39 of the 22nd March.
