Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery that occurred at around 2.25pm yesterday (16th June) around the area of Gilsland road, Carlisle.

 

It is reported a man was assaulted by another man before he left the area, during the incident gold Jewellery was taken. The man who was assaulted suffered minor injuries.

 

Officers are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a man described as being in his mid-40’s, white, approximately 5ft 10ins, stocky build, with dark receding wavy hair and was wearing a white T-shirt and dark coloured joggers.
