Cumbria Police have charged a man in connection with a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on Sunday 21st June on Abbey Road, Dalton.


David Logan, aged 47, of Broughton Road, Dalton has been charged with three counts of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been remanded to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates tomorrow (June 26).

Emergency services were called at 2:30pm on the 21st June to the report of a road traffic collision involving one vehicle a Peugeot 206 and three pedestrians.

Officers are urging anyone who might have witnessed the incident or the vehicle in the area who have not already come forward to contact T/PS 2265 Jack Stabler (Serious Collision Investigation Unit) – or call 101 referencing incident 124 of 21st June 2020.
