Universal Health Visitors work with children under 5 and their families  who are not in statutory services i.e. Child Protection, Child in Need or Children looked after . We work as individual professionals seeking out health needs (developmental, parental mental health etc ) or as part of the wider Early Help teams with other agencies. Our main aims are to ensure that children are able to grow up as safely and healthily as possible and are in a position where they feel cared for and by the important adults in their lives

In MARAC we provide information on recent contacts with family and health of the children and offer wider health advice.

We can offer actions in MARAC to arrange family contact and input if there is a health/developmental  need. We can take part in Early Help Meetings to support the families.
