Barrow Borough Council provides a range of services to the general public. This includes the delivery of their statutory duty to tackle homelessness in the Borough. The role for the representative who attends MARAC is to acknowledge people suffering domestic abuse may need to be assisted with their accommodation under the homeless legislation so that they can be provided with a safe place to live, to give advice and assistance with appropriate housing options and solutions.

We can offer information about homeless duties in MARAC and solutions to problems that victims may be experiencing with their tenancies either local authority or private landlord.
