Emergency services deal with serious collision on M6 northbound between J35-36

Police are currently dealing with a serious collision on the M6 northbound carriageway just after Burton services between J35 – J36.
The collision involves five vehicles - four heavy goods vehicles and one car. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.
Police, Fire and Ambulance are in attendance, along with two air ambulances.
A rolling road block has been implemented on the northbound carriageway of the M6 from J34. Motorists are urged to be patient and use alternative routes wherever possible.
The M6 southbound carriageway at Junction 36 was temporarily closed to allow air ambulances to land. Traffic is now able to move slowly on the southbound carriageway in the area.
