11 Million Takeover Day 2011
For 2011 Cumbria Constabulary focused their involvement in 11 Million Takeover day to highlight the dangers of alcohol in young people.
Takeover day was on Friday 11 November and it gives children and young people the chance to work with adults for the day and be involved in decision-making. Children benefit from the opportunity to experience the world of work and make their voices heard, while adults and organisations gain a fresh perspective on what they do.
Below is some of their own accounts on how the day went with Police/Fire & Rescue (select links) and some of the images taken.
