Safer Stronger Community Meeting

We asked at your last SSC meeting what your local priorities were - You said

  1. Anti-Social Behaviour and Criminal Damage in the areas surrounding Central Drive and James Dunn Park.

These are community priorities that local people in your area have agreed with the Neighbourhood Police. You can influence priorities by attending your next local meeting and informing your NPT what crimes need clearing up in your area.

We did - action taken or planned to tackle your priorities

  1. Anti-Social Behaviour and Criminal Damage in the areas surrounding Central Drive and James Dunn Park.

    .

April- We have continued to patrol your priority area and deal with anti-social behaviour robustly. Only 10 incidents of youth realted asb on the whole Island. We have also reacted to some reports of problems on the edges of your priority area. PCSO's and PC's have changed shifts to ensure they are there at the right time to tackle problems quickly.

May- We will carefully monitor anti-social behaviour on Walney and adapt our patrol plans to tackle issues head on. Does your son our daughter leave school armed with cigarettes? If so its likely that they will be stopped and have them taken away. We are taking this action after complaints from residents on walney.
