The next Safer Stronger Community (SSC) priority meeting
We asked at your last SSC meeting what your local priorities were - You said
Home Security – We held a street meeting with residents of South Ulverston and they told us of the vulnerability of properties on North Lonsdale Road and Steel Street following the recent floods. At a recent Safer Stroger Community Meeting it was agreed that this would be the number one prority for Ulverston East Ward.
These are community priorities that local people in your area have agreed with the Neighbourhood
Police. You can influence priorities by attending your next local meeting and informing
your NPT what crimes need clearing up in your area.

During July we recorded 3 crimes on the East Ward. These were for theft from a unlocked vehicle and two incidents of violence at properties, one was found to be false and the caller was advised re the misuse of emergency calls the other was an altercation between friends but there were no injuries. Several incidents of anti social behaviour have also been reported in the East Ward, however, these figures are down on the same period last year which is encouraging.
