Silloth
During April 2012 there were five crimes reported to the Police. A summary of these are as follows:
On 1st April 2012 criminal damage was caused to a motor vehicle on the industrial estate in Silloth.
On 2nd April 2012 a motor vehicle was stolen from the Silloth area.
On 14th April 2012 criminal damage was caused to the motor vehicle in Silloth.
On 28th April 2012 anassault was committed in Silloth. Two youths under 18 years of age have been subject of the restorative justice procedure.
On 28th April 2012 an investigation into theft from premises in Silloth has been launched by the police and is continuing.
There were twelve incidents of anti social behaviour reported in Silloth, which included adults causing nuisance, as well as youth related incidents.
Marsh
During April 2012 there were three crimes reported to the Police.
On 3rd April 2012 a person was assaulted in the Glendale area. The suspect was arrested and subsequently cautioned.
On 10th April 2012 a person was assaulted in Port Carlisle. This matter is being investigated by the police.
On 15th April 2012 Criminal damage was caused to dwelling houses in the Kirkbride area. The person responsible was arrested and charged with offences.
There were three incidents of anti social behaviour reported to the Police.
Holme
During April 2012 , there was one crime reported to the Police.
On 5th April 2012 damage was caused to a garden fence in Abbeytown. The police are investigating this offence.
There were two incidents of anti social behaviour reported during April 2012.

Always lock your bike when not in use, even for a minute
When out always lock & secure your bike in a well-lit public area
Home or away, use a good quality D-lock, locking the wheels & frame to an immoveable point, even when stored in a garage or shed
Remember to keep your bike out of sight to passers by & locked when at home or on the back or top of a vehicle

Remember to insure your bike, take photographs of your bike and take note of all the serial numbers.
The Police are in receipt of complaints of dog fouling. It is an offence for a person in charge of a dog at the time it fouls not to clean up its faeces in a public place. Failure to clean up after a dog has fouled may result in a Fixed Penalty Fine of £75.00, payable within 14 days, or a fine of up to £1000.
