We asked at your last SSC meeting what your local priorities were - You said

  1. After a Safer Stronger Communuty meeting held on August 16th it was decided that the area between Duddon Road and the Railway Station Askam-in-Furness will continue as a priority to tackle anti-social behaviour by young people playing football, leaving litter and driving badly in that area.

These are community priorities that local people in your area have agreed with the Neighbourhood Police. You can influence priorities by attending your next local meeting and informing your NPT what crimes need clearing up in your area.

We did - action taken or planned to tackle your priorities

  1. After a Safer Stronger Communuty meeting held on August 16th it was decided that the area between Duddon Road and the Railway Station Askam-in-Furness will continue as a priority to tackle anti-social behaviour by young people playing football, leaving litter and driving badly in that area.

We will continue to patrol Duddon Road and Railway area of Askam during the day time and the evening. Our patrol plan includes challenging people who behave in an anti social manner, or who drive in a dangerous or inconsiderate way. We will keep you updated on progress at the meetings we attend in the area and in our next community update.
