101 - The police non-emergency number

Crime in the Currock and Upperby area is low at the moment. Cycle thefts are a problem throughout the City as are Shed breaks. Below are some simple tips to stop you becoming a victim of crime .

If you are going out for the night remember

·          Think: Keys, money, phone, plans to get home?
·          Plan in advance how you’re going to get home safely
·          Stick with your friends and look out for each other
·          Arrange a safe meeting place in case you get separated
·          Stash some cash in case you lose your purse
·          Know your limits and always stay in control
·          Store an ICE (in case of emergency) number in your phone

Pedal Cycles

Mark the cycle with your postcode

Contact your local officer if you wish us to place a security label on your cycle

Lock it when you cant see your cycle

Put your cycle away in a secure building and attach a good lock

 Sheds & Outbuildings
