101 - The police non-emergency number

101 is the number to call when you want to contact your local police - when it’s less urgent than a 999 call. 101 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Crime and anti-social behaviour in the Morton, Belle Vue and Yewdale areas is very low at the moment. We will still continue to patrol the areas to deter offenders. Here is some simple crime prevention advice to make sure you do not make it easy for criminals and become a victim

If you are going out for the night remember

·          Think: Keys, money, phone, plans to get home?
·          Plan in advance how you’re going to get home safely
·          Stick with your friends and look out for each other
·          Arrange a safe meeting place in case you get separated
·          Stash some cash in case you lose your purse
·          Know your limits and always stay in control
·          Store an ICE (in case of emergency) number in your phone
