What does it involve?

Duties can include patrolling on foot or in vehicles, crime prevention work, schools liaison and public nuisance patrols, policing county shows and events, crowd control at football and rugby matches, traffic duty and community policing.  Indeed, as a Special, you are an important link between the police and the community.
